A word from your President Charlene Wong...
CONGRATULATIONS EVERYONE! - President's message Nov. 2011
Our Quilt Show wound up Saturday evening and I just want to congratulate everyone involved for a job extremely well done. To everyone who supported the guild by attending the show; to everyone who allowed us to display their beautiful quilts; to all the volunteers who helped arrange our display on Thursday and then to take it all down on Saturday; and especially to the Quilt Show Committee for all their hard work and hours of time invested in giving us a very successful quilt show; to everyone, a most Heartfelt THANK YOU! I also want to thank all the members who participated in the Boutique and helped to make it a big success. We had a beautiful display of more than 300 items and I’m pleased to advise that we had sales in the amount of $1,225.50 with a total of $141.60 going to the guild. And last, but not least, I have been asked by my husband to tell you how pleased he is with his new quilt and to express his appreciation to the guild. For those of you not present at the draw for the charity quilts, my husband was fortunate to have his ticket drawn for the Autumn quilt. And on that note, I look forward to seeing all of you at the meeting this coming Thursday.
Charlene

First let me say that I am just thrilled to be in charge of program this year for our guild. I have heard from many of you that you would like to see more traditional speakers while still keeping up with a splash of new techniques. I hope you enjoy this yearʼs program as much as me.
